Learn MoreKoocanusa Village Community Association Mission is To plan and promote social events and activities that help develop a sense of belonging, community spirit and goodwill. To raise funds required to support the ongoing growth and development of all purposes. To represent the Koocanusa Village Community Association members and provide a consolidated voice.To promote, encourage, develop and oversee the operations of a local volunteer fire department. To promote and encourage the safety, security and protection of all Koocanusa Village residents and their properties from natural (e.g. fire, wildlife, water levels), local (e.g. speeders), and external influence (e.g. cattle, break in or criminal activity). To promote awareness of all locally imposed bylaws that contribute to the safety of all residents. To manage common areas, facilities and access routes within the development area that do not fall within the responsibility of the Strata Corporations and are not serviced by local or regional government.
